I am planning to pursue a course in either Architecture or Interior Design. What is the difference between Architecture and Interior Desinging. Which has better career prospects? Is NATA easy to crack?

Hi,

In Architecture, more attention is paid to structural design, with a focus on remodeling and adaptive reuse of existing structures. While interior design focuses on finishes, furniture, and color schemes to create indoor atmospheres.
Despite the fact that their earnings are different, the gap between them is not very wide. The average salary for an interior designer is $47,360, or roughly $3,353 per month. An architect typically makes $3,373 per month or $47,634 per year. Therefore, if you have to decide on a better career option on the basis of salary the above info might help. But I recommend you must go by your skills and interests, because as in this case, career prospects with both professions are quite lucrative, considering a base job description.
1. Speak to an Architect and understand the basic skills required.
2. Speak to an Interior designer and understand the basic skills required.
3. Consult a career counselor so that a sychometric analysis can be done and the best career for you can be decided upon.

Now coming to your last question, if NATA is easier to crack or not?
Now, again this is a very subjective question as it will completely depend upon your merits, skills, observation skills, drawing and sketching skills, ability to generate new and unique ideas, as well as your focus and tenacity.
