IIT Bombay's Industrial Design Centre (IDC) conducted the UCEED 2022 on January 23. The number of UCEED 2022 participating institutes has increased, which is a significant change. Only four institutes (IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur) participated in the UCEED test until 2021 to admit candidates to their Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes. However, commencing in 2022, the Department of Design at IIT Delhi will take part in the exam to provide admission to candidates for its BDes programme.
