The National Institute of Design, NID is one of the best design schools that are located in Ahmedabad, India. The institute is an autonomous body but works under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, government of India.
NID DAT is an entrance exam that is conducted in offline mode to get admission into the prestigious NID. This exam is conducted in two modes, separately, for B.Des and M.Des. The stage one is for Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims and stage two is for Design Aptitude Test Mains. The exam pattern consists of both subjective as well as objective questions.
Candidates who appeared for all the exams in both the stages will only be considered as eligible for the merit list. There will be a separate merit list that will be published for all disciplines under M.Des programme.
If two candidates score the same marks, then they will be allotted the same ranks. The merit list will be published category-wise, i.e., General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PH.
The final merit list will be based on the total sum of the weighted scores secured by the candidate at each stage of the admissions procedure. On the basis of NID DAT prelims merit list, shortlisted candidates will be allowed to sit in the NID DAT Mains (Studio Test and Interview).

Step 3- Fill in all your login details such as email address, date of birth, roll number/Application form number.
Step 4- Enter the verification code and click on ‘Submit’ button.
Step 5- Your result will appear in front of you on the screen.
Step 6 - Print the result and keep extra printouts of it.
