What Is NID?
The National Institute of Design, NID is one of the best design schools, that is located in Ahmedabad, India. The institute is an autonomous body but works under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
Even, according to Business Week NID topped the list of top design schools in the world in the year 2010.

National Institute of Design always releases the NID DAT cut-off every year which determines the minimum qualifying criteria for B.Des/ M.Des admission into the new session after the declaration of NID DAT final results for both B.Des and M.Des. Candidates must score the minimum NID DAT cut off in the final result to secure their admission at NID Ahmedabad, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Haryana, and Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who fail to clear the NID DAT cut-off will not be eligible to secure their admission into B.Des/ M.Des courses. The concerned authority of NID will specify the NID DAT cut-off as per category wise like every year.
