WHAT IS TDV? 

TDV or The design village is a college for Design based in Delhi. It offers under graduation and post graduation degrees in collaboration with Shri Venkateshwara University. TDV offers both under graduation and post graduation courses and take admission on the basis of TDV's entrance examination. Candidates who have finished their Intermediate and graduation examinations are eligible to give the TDV exam for B. Des and M. Des. 

Cost of studying at TDV

  • TOTAL FEE FOR B. DES

Bachelor degree course or B. Des course at TDV will take 4years to complete. 4 years are divided into 8 semester. 

Collaboration fees- ₹300000

Tuition fees- ₹1150000

Atelier, Labs, Library Fee- ₹400000

GRAND TOTAL- ₹1,850,000

  • TOTAL FEES FOR M. DES

Master courses or M. Des degree are 2 year course divided into 4 semester.

GRAND TOTAL- ₹10,00,000

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To get into TDV, You need to be eligible with the eligibility criteria. So here is the eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates need to complete their 10+2 examination or 10+3 diploma course from any recognized state or national board in any relevant stream. 
  • Candidates need to complete their graduation degree from any recognized university in any stream. 
  • Candidates will be selected through TDV entrance examination, so they have to achieve a score matching the cut off.
  • Qualifying TDV entrance will take you to the next round, in which candidates have to go through situation test and personal interview round.

TDV ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

TDV conducts their own entrance examination for B. Des admission. This is the selection process of them. Candidates have to score a valid number or above cut off marks to get into TDV.

  • The TDV exam first part or the Witten part is the Aptitude test. This part is divided into two rounds such as- Capacity testing and ability testing. This examination comprises both MCQ and descriptive questions to analyse candidate's Verbal, numerical, and reasoning abilities, Social and political mindfulness, Recognition and perception aptitudes and skills to produce contemporary thoughts by considering conventional wisdom. 
  • After qualifying the written part candidates have to Sit for situation test. Here candidates ask to draw hypothetical scenario, build models, construction something meaningful imaginative and artistic capabilities, portray their constructive thought-process etc. In this part of the exam you have to show your creativity the most. 
  • And the last part is group discussion.
