NID DAT Exam Pattern 2024

 The National Institute of Design (NID) will issue the NID DAT 2024 exam pattern, which will include the admission exam requirements. NID DAT test template 2024 will provide hopefuls with a thorough understanding of the NID paper pattern, marking scheme, maximum marks, and other aspects of the NID admission exam. NID DAT consists of two exams: prelims and mains. 
 

Candidates who wish to take the mains test must first pass the NID DAT prelims exam. The NID DAT Mains Exam is usually given in person. The NID DAT Mains examination is often held at NID campuses in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Gandhinagar, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Assam. The second stage of the NID DAT 2024 will be a studio exam, which will be held in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Gandhinagar in accordance with the NIDpaper pattern. Candidates must attend a studio exam followed by a personal interview round at the designated campus.

As per the NID DAT 2024 exam pattern, the DAT Prelims exam questions consist of two sections - subjective type questions and objective type questions. The NID paper pattern for B.Des is designed to test the candidates’ aptitude for design, creativity, observation, and communication skills. The details of the two sections are mentioned in the following table. NID DAT Mains Exam Pattern (M.Des)
The NID DAT MDes Prelims exam consists of two parts: a CDAT and a discipline-specific examination. Admission will be granted based on the results of both tests.

Candidates applying for only one discipline must take the NID DAT Prelims, which include the CDAT and discipline-specific examinations. The test will last 2.5 hours in total. Candidates applying for two disciplines, on the other hand, must take the DAT prelims exam, which consists of the CDAT plus two discipline-specific examinations. The exam lasts 4.5 hours (30 minutes for the CDAT and 2 hours for each discipline-specific examination).
