The Apparel Design Program in NID (Haryana Campus) emphasizes on building a variety of skills, in combination with theoretical knowledge and practical applications.The program commences with the fundamentals of textile and apparel design. This includes textile fibres,weave structure, surface design, dyeing techniques, printing procedures, stitching techniques, structured fabrics, and fundamental garment design inputs are all covered. Students are encouraged to develop textiles for the textile, garment, furniture, and craft industries through more complicated design projects that are supplemented by associated social sciences, fashion, trends, brand identification, technology, and computer-aided design.
Several multidisciplinary projects for developing textiles and garments for Public Spaces/Exhibition/Interiors and the Automobile Industry are included in the curriculum.

Candidates who have taken or will take Higher Secondary (10+2) qualifying examinations from any recognized board of education such as CBSE / IB / ICSC or equivalent in any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts, etc.) in the academic year 2023-24 are eligible.
