Does NATA offer product design course?

Sorry, NATA is an entrance examination to get admission to architecture courses. If you want to study product design, you should not write NATA. Instead there are other entrance exams to get admission in your preferred design courses. 

What is product design? 

Product designing is a course of Designing to learn designing, manufacturing, and use of products around us. Product design can be a lucrative career. Product designing is the most demanding field for startups, large product-based corporations, and software companies.

Product designing course

You need to study B. Des or bachelor’s degree in product designing from any recognized designing university or you can do M. Des or Masters degree in product designing for further study. 

Eligibility criteria

  • You need to complete your 10+2 examination first in any stream from any recognised board. 
  • You need to clear the entrance examination to get admission into you preferred college or institutions. 

Popular entrance examination for product designing course

  1. NIFT entrance examination: National Institute of fashion and technology perform their own entrance examination which is NIFT exam every year to take admission of students who wants to pursue any designing courses. 
  2. Pearl academy entrance: Pearl academy offer their own entrance exam every year to take admission. 
  3. AIEED: All India Entrance Examination for Design is an entrance exam conducted by Arch College of Design and Business. 
  4. IIAD DAT: The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) occur their admission process through IIAD DAT or IIAD design aptitude test. 
  5. UID DAT: Unitedworld Institute of design perform design aptitude test to take admission. 
  6. WWI Entrance exam: Whistling Woods International Entrance Exam conduct by Whistling Woods International Institute of Film, Communication and Creative Arts to take admission. 
  7. NID DAT: National Institute of design' design aptitude test. 
  8. SOFT CET: School of Fashion Technology Common Entrance test. 
  9. FDDI AIST: Footwear Design & Development Institute's All India Selection Test
  10. GLS Institute of Design's design Aptitude Test
  11. The Design Village Entrance Exam
  12. GD Goenka Design Aptitude Test

There are more entrance exams conduct in India every year. 

So if you want to pursue product design, go for these entrance exams. Not NATA.
