Yes, the design village provides good placement

An industry-focused, multidisciplinary design institute called The Design Village is headquartered in Noida, New Delhi, India. All design disciplines converge at TDV for crucial interdisciplinary interactions. Meaningful teacher and student interactions are arranged by TDV with various foreign institutions and organisations.

Students at design colleges have a wide range of opportunities to work with business on real-world projects. Students have access to a variety of opportunities for training and internships during the academic year. The programme includes skill-building exercises and workshops, full-time optional/required internships, on-the-job training, study tours, and summer training. They give pupils the chance to put what they have learnt in the classroom into practise in actual situations.

Live Projects

Opportunities for Live Projects with businesses across many industries, some of which could last longer than a month and come with a stipend. The live projects included Sony India Pvt Ltd (Marketing and Sales), Decathlon Live Project (22-day operational move of one shop to another site), and others. There must be at least one live project.

Guest lectures, seminars, and conclaves

Delegates and dignitaries from business are invited to give practical and business-related exposure as well as information on what the business expects students to know to be prepared for the business world, among other things. CEOs, Directing Managers, and department-specific seasoned specialists mentor the students.

Summer Internship

As a requirement for the course, Management students must complete a 2-month internship during the summer in their area of concentration, while B.Tech./CSE students must complete a 6-month industrial training programme. However, the university will offer many possibilities for students to apply for the positions on campus by contacting numerous corporations and businesses, including some well-known names like WNS Global, IBM, Google, auto and mobile companies, and the top banking and financial institutions.

Industrial Visits and Off-Campus Events

The university offers numerous opportunities for students to travel to nearby industrial sites. For example, in 2018, a group of interested finance students were taken for a day trip to the Reserve Bank of India office in Chandigarh/Mohali, and a group of operation management students were taken to Hero Corps in Ludhiana.

The 2017 ILS ISB Leadership Summit at the Indian School of Business in Mohali, the TedEX event in Mohali, and other off-campus excursions were among them.
