The UPES School of Design's Bachelor of Design (Fashion) program is a four-year undergraduate degree that focuses on combining traditional craftsmanship with current digital technologies to convert flat materials into dynamic three-dimensional shapes.

The curriculum stresses the designer's perspective, preparing students to succeed in a variety of design fields.

Graduates will be able to exhibit their fashion concepts through sketches, technical drawings, tech-pack, fabric and surface samples, and digital representation.

Aspiring fashion designers will also learn how to use surface decorations such as patterns, embroidery, and textures into their clothing creations. They will also learn how to produce cost forecasts and investigate alternate product possibilities while refining their design concepts and constructing product prototypes. To equip students with a fully-rounded education, the curriculum includes summer internships with leading design brands as well as industrial tours to provide them first-hand understanding of the workings of the design business.

The curriculum also includes a one-of-a-kind module focused on craft documentation, in which students will do research, dig into the rich traditions of Indian crafts, and painstakingly record their discoveries. This module invites students to delve into the depths of Indian craftsmanship and infuse the soul of the country's past into their works. The Bachelor of Design (Fashion) program is designed to enable graduates to become expert fashion designers who are proficient in all parts of the design process, from conception to final product execution.
