NATA is a National entrance examination conducted by CoA to get admission with B. Arch. , not an institution

ABOUT NATA

NATA, National aptitude test of architecture, is an entrance exam which is conducted by National Institute of advanced studies in architecture (NIASA) the body of council of Architecture in India. This entrance exam is a national level examination. Students who are willing to study Bachelor of architecture or some other relevant architecture courses at all recognized institutions across India, can give NATA after their 12th examination.

Key points about NATA

  • those who wants to study B. Arch or bachelors in architecture, and has PCM and 50% marks in their 10+2 examination or 50% marks in 10+3 diploma with compulsory maths, are eligible for NATA
  • NATA in a central exam to get admission in any institution with has B. Arch degree and accept NATA score.  NATA holds the national importance in case of B. Arch. Admission. 
  • scoring more than 70 out of 200 in NATA make you eligible to study B. Arch in your preferred college which are affiliated with NATA score. Better score will lead you to the top notch college. 
  • different institutions affiliated with NATA have different admission and counselling process as well as different eligibility criteria. 

So, NATA is a national entrance examination. And institutions which are affiliated with NATA, take admission on the basis of NATA's score. 

Institutions for NATA 

More than 379 institutes are there all over India, empanelled by CoA which offer admission in B. Arch course on the basis of candidate’s score in NATA. Approximately, 21,458 B. Arch seats are available all over Indian institutions.
