What is NATA? 

NATA is an entrance exam which is conducted by National Institute of advanced studies in architecture (NIASA) the body of council of Architecture in India. This entrance exam is a national level examination. Students who are willing to study Bachelor of architecture or some other relevant architecture courses at all recognized institutions across India, can give NATA after their 12th examination.
NATA measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability by 2parted exams.

What exactly NATA offers? 

NATA exam is aimed to select candidates who wants to pursue B. Arch courses.

Designing courses

Design is now a days in tremendous demand as a course. People are making their career out of courses like graphics design, interior design, fashion design, textile design, product design, industrial design etc. There are bachelors and masters degree in design in various specialise courses. In India, to study design, candidates need to crack entrance exams of national level or may be some entrance exam which are conducted by a particular college. Without doing well in entrance, you are not eligible to study design. 

Some entrance exams are:

• NIFT Exam ( National Institute of Fashion technology exam) it’s a national level exam and conducted once in a year, to get admission for both B. Des and M. Des
• UCEED ( undergraduate common entrance exam for design) it’s a national level exam and conduct every year only to get admission for B. Des. 
• CEED (common entrance exam for design) conducted by IIT bombay to get admission at any IIT branch with M. Des. 
• NID DAT( national Institute of design-design aptitude test) it’s a national level exam conducted by NID to get admission with both B. Des and M. Des. 
• PAF Entrance exam (Pearl Academy entrance exam) it’s a national level exam conducted by Pearl academy thrice in a year for both UG and PG course. 
• FDDI AIST (footwear design and development Institute- All India selection test) a national level exam conducted by FDDI once in a year for PG and UG admission. 
• SEED (symbiosis entrance exam for design) it is conducted by symbiosis Institute of design to get admission for B. Des. 
• AIEED (All India Entrance exam for design) is conducted by ARCH academy of design at national level. 
• IIAD Entrance exam ( Indian Institute of art and design entrance exam) conducted by IIAD for both UG and PG course)
