WHAT IS IIAD? 

The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) is the prestigious design school situated in New Delhi, know for their design and communication courses. IIAD New Delhi was named the "Best Communication Design College in India by Asia Today” at the Asian Education Summit and Awards 2021. The courses IIAD offers such as Fashion Designing, Communication Designing, Interior Architecture and Designing, Fashion Business Management, Fashion Communication, etc.

FEE STRUCTURE OF COURSES-

FOR UNDER GRADUATION COURSES- 

B. Des course fees per year is ₹4,87,134.
Other Fees (One time fees payable at the time of admission for all courses) which includes admission fees and Refundable Security Deposit are ₹ 67,200.

FOR POST GRADUATION COURSES-

Masters in Fashion Business Management is INR 7,50,000.
Masters in Fashion Design is INR 6,50,000 in total.
Other Fees (One time fees payable at the time of admission for all courses) which includes admission fees and Refundable Security Deposit are ₹ 67,200.

HOW TO GET INTO IIAD:

Step1. Be eligible! 

• For Under graduation courses, candidates must pass their 10+2 examination in any relevant stream from any recognized board with aggregate 50% marks. 
• For post graduation courses, candidates must pass their graduation degree in any relevant stream from any recognized university.

Step2. Know about entrance exam! 

• iDAT: candidates who wants to study Interior and Architecture Design, Fashion Design, communication design, fashion communication and fashion designing courses. 
• iMAT: candidates who wants to study fashion business management course. 
• Personal interview: Candidates have to go through this step after giving IMAT and IDAT for Fashion business management and fashion design courses.
• Studio stimulation: every candidates have to go through this round. 

Step3. Know exam pattern, syllabus and cut off marks. 
Step4. Register yourself and fill up application form. You can fill up the form both in offline or online. 
Step5. Get the admit card. Download it online through IIAD official website. Take it as a hall ticket without which you cant sit for the exam. 
Step6. Attend the exam, don’t forgot to bring all the essential things for the exam including the admit card. 
Step7. After clarifying all the round, wait for the result out. 
Step8. Wait for the merit list to come out. merit rank will be used for the seat allotment process.
