What is the eligibility criteria for masters in nid?

National Institute of Design (NID) declares the need for eligibility provisions online that are wanted for the entrance tests carried out by it. The eligibility conditions for several courses for example B.Des, M.Des, and Ph.D. are declared besides the official prospectus of the courses. The candidates who fulfill the specified eligibility provisions can implement matriculation at NID. NID eligibility conditions include the age restrain and minimum educational qualifications that are wanted to catch matriculation in NID. 

The candidates who have already finished their 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary) from AISSCE / IB / ICSE or any recognized committee throughout the academic period of 365 days in 2022 will be qualified to implement for the NID entrance exam.

The candidates appearing for their 10 + 2 (higher secondary) are additionally qualified to implement for this examination.
 

Eligibility criteria for Maters in NID :

Age Limit
The upper age restrains for the candidates for the Masters of Construct (M.Des) course is 30 years as of 30 July 2021. The Reticent type candidates will get an age relaxation of 3 years in the delivered upper age limit.

1. The General type candidates who are born on or before 1st July 1991 are not qualified to implement for this Master's program.
2. The Reticent type (OBC - NCL, SC, ST, and PH) candidates who are born on or before 1st July 1990 are not qualified to implement for this Masters's Programme.

Educational Qualification

There are the following conditions that the candidates have to fulfill before applying for the Masters of Design Programme.

The candidates should have completed or should be appearing for the following, before July 2021:

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree under the 10 + 2 + 4 Programme. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, from any recognized University or Institute across India.
• The candidate should have a degree or Diploma in Design from any recognized University or Institute across India under the 10 + 2 + 4 Programme.
