Arch programs provided by various institutions across the nation, the Council of Architecture administers the National Aptitude Test in Architecture, or NATA as it is more widely known. The purpose of NATA is to assess candidates' abilities and determine if they are qualified for admission to undergraduate architecture programs. The exam attempts to evaluate each candidate's capacity to critically think as well as their drawing and observational skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic awareness, and knowledge of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the 10+2 level.
