Chitkara University has collaborated with universities and colleges around the world on student exchange and gateway programmes to expose their students to a world full of opportunities and learning experiences.

Programs taught in English by local and international faculty, student exchanges from partner universities around the world, international research collaboration, dual-degree and twinning programme development by international partners, and international faculty exchange are all key features of Chitkara University that clearly reflect the university's "Strong International Focus."

Semester Exchange, in which students visit Partner Universities for six months to one year to complete their semesters abroad; Summer Programs, which is a short duration programme of 15 days to one month on various specialisations and also adds to the international exposure of the students; International Competitions, in which students participate in competitions conducted by several institutions & organisations at an international level such as MUN; Internatonal Competitions, in which students participate in competitions conducted by several institutions & organisations at an international level such as MUN;

Furthermore, Chitkara University regularly invites faculty from accredited institutions around the world, which aids their students in understanding diverse educational standards.

Regardless, Chitkara University students have the opportunity to participate in Leadership Camps, receive Study Based Scholarships, and form strong global connections with major institutions such as the University of Florida, San Diego State University, George Brown College, the University of British Columbia, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Deakin University, Cologne Business School, and many others.

Three Chitkara University students, Ranveer and Shalini, second year MBA in Marketing students, and Radhika Gondi, first year student, were in the spotlight for completing their respective semesters at EM Normandy, France, as part of the student exchange programme.
