ABOUT CHITKARA UNIVERSITY

Chitkara, a private university located in Punjab. It offers under graduate programs, post-graduate program and doctoral programs in the specialised fields of engineering, management, pharmacy, health sciences, nursing, hospitality, art & design and education. 

Subjects taught in Chitkara University

Bachelor degree courses

Chitkara university offers specialisation courses of 4 years in bachelor’s of design such as interior design, fashion design, animation, game design, product design, user experience, visual communication.

Master degree courses

Chitkara university offers two specialisation courses of 2 years in masters of design such as interior design and user experience (UX/UI)

Fee structure for B. Des

All B. Des courses in Chitkara is about 4 years course which will take at least INR 7.40 lakh. 

Fee structure for M. Des

For both M. Des courses in Chitkara is about 2 years which will take atleast total tuition fees of ₹3.60 Lakh. 


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

FOR B. DES 

To get into Chitkara for B. Des candidates must check out their eligibility criteria first. 

  • For admission to B. Des, candidates must have a valid scores of UCEED or NATA or JEE Main exams, respectively. 
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 50% to 60% score in their 10+2 examination. 
  • Admission to these UG courses is done purely on the basis of qualifying exam marks and interview performance.

FOR M. DES 

To get into chitkara for masters candidates must check out their eligibility criteria first. 

  • Chitkara select their students for masters in design on the basis of their performance in the under graduation degree. Candidates must score minimum 50% marks in their graduation degree. 
  • Candidates have to go through a personal interview round to qualify for Chitkara's M. Des course. 
  • The admission in M. Des at Chitkara is fully based on the seat matrix which means seat allocation.
