The NATA syllabus has changed being divided into seven parameters of aptitude. The authorities will behavior NATA for admission into the B.Arch courses provided by using the participating institutes of the country.

- Diagrammatic Reasoning - Testing the candidate's ability of logical reasoning, using diagrams and scenarios
- Numerical Reasoning - Testing the candidate's Mathematical potential thru easy problems
- Verbal Reasoning - Assessing the capability to determine verbal logic
- Inductive Reasoning - Testing the potential to see patterns and analyze given data
- Situational Judgment - Assessing the trouble-solving ability of the candidate
- Logical Reasoning - Ability to understand patterns, sequences, or relationships between shapes and imagery
- Abstract Reasoning - Assessing the candidate's regularly occurring knowledge, and capability to make use of know-how in new situations
