What type of questions are asked in NATA entrance exam?

NATA Entrance question paper carry questions like MCQ, MSQ, PCQ and NAQ

Council of Architecture (AoC) conduct National aptitude test in Architecture (NATA) which is the entrance exam for B. Arch course in various Indian colleges or universities at national level. 

If a candidate willing to crack NATA, he/she have to know well about NATA entrance's question pattern very well. It will help them to prepare for the examination. 

NATA question paper cosist questions like-

  1. MCQ- Multiple Choice Question in which 4 answer will be provided as a option. Candidates have to choose the right one among them. 
  2.  MSQ- Multiple Answer Select type question where 8 to 10 answer options will be provided in which 4 or 5 answer will be correct.
  3. PAQ- Preferential Answer type question where each answer options will have a mark awarded. The mark will be awarded on the basis of answer selection.
  4. NAQ- Numerical Answer type Question where no answer choices will be given. The candidate will provide a numerical answer. Alternatively, it also could be the fill in the blank question. The correct answer will be awarded the mark.

NATA is 3 hour test within which candidates have to answer 125 questions. There will be 1 mark, 2 marks and 3 marks questions. Candidates will have to answer 75 one mark questions, 25 two marks questions and 25 three marks questions. 

  • 75 questions of 1 marks= 75
  • 25 questions of 2 marks= 50
  • 25 questions of 3 marks= 75
  • Total= 200 questions and 200 marks examination.
