Candidates who are applying offline, must send their printed version of application form by courier or post.
To get into NID, interested candidates need to crack NID DAT. NID conduct an entrance examination called NID DAT which is a design aptitude test every year to take admission in B. Des and M. Des courses at NID. Candidates, willing to pursue design courses, must apply for NID DAT to get admission at NID.
NID DAT is divided in to two different parts: NID prelims and NID Mains.
After qualifying NID prelims and then Mains, candidates need to crack studio test and personal interview round.
To get at NID you have to crack this above mentioned NID DAT. And before that you must fill up NID DAT examination form.
Step1. Go to the official website for NID and register yourself with your ID and Password.
Step2. Log in into that site with your ID password.
Step3. Open the application form tab.
Step4. Fill up the application form with required details and documents. Such as-
Photograph (JPG/JPEG; not more than 100kb)
Signature of candidates (JPG/JPEG; not more than 100kb)
Educational qualification details, communication details, etc
OBC-NCL certificate/ST certificate/SC certificate/EWS and disability certificate (it applied for general, general-EWS, OBC-NCL, ST/SC- PwD candidates) (JPG/JPEG; not more than 150kb)
Copy of the first and last page of the passport only for overseas candidates (JPG; not more than 150kb)
Step5. Pay the application fees.
The cost of NID form is divided into two section. One is for General, EWS, OBC candidates, which is Rs 3,000/- and 2nd is for SC, ST, PwD candidates, which is Rs 1,500/-. But with late fee the general, EWS, OBC candidates have to pay Rs 6000/- and ST, SC, PwD candidates have to pay Rs 3000/-
Candidates have to pay the NID DAT application fee via online through net banking/credit card/debit.
Step6. Successful payment will take you to the confirmation page.
Step7. Download the application form and rake a print out of it.
Step1. While filling up the application form Select your preferred mode of payment—either credit/debit card to pay online or demand draft to pay. Select offline method.
Step2. Craft a demand draft in favour of ‘All India Management Association payable at New Delhi.
Step3. fill the details of the DD online to complete the submission process before 1400 hrs.
Step4. send the demand draft and a printout version of your application form in a single envelope via courier or post to the following address.
