Every year, the placements at NID have broken its previous year’s record. According to news reports from February 2022, collectively 124 companies participated in NID placement across Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Bengaluru campuses. Authorities reported that close to 400 job offers had been made to students, from sectors such as the FMCG, automotive, textile, apparel, games, IT, lifestyle, education, jewellery, baggage, electronics, advertising, entertainment, and others. Some of the major names that visited the NID for placements last year are Wipro technologies, Whirlpool India Ltd., VIP Industries Ltd, Trident Group, Titan Industries, Toshiba, Japan, and Philips.
