About TDV

Based in Noida, New Delhi, India, The Design Village Foundation is a multidisciplinary, industry-focused design institute. All design disciplines converge at TDV for crucial interdisciplinary interactions. Meaningful teacher and student interactions are arranged by TDV with many foreign institutions and organizations. TDV collaborates closely with experts in the field to keep a sharp focus on how design is used in the real world.

The Village serves as a physical and philosophical metaphor for the design village. The design village is an organic community where culture is recognized and rediscovery, much like a real village.

Vision

Design has the power to change lives, according to The Design Village. TDV believes that design offers fresh ideas for the future in addition to providing solutions to the issues of the present. To achieve this goal, TDV offers people the option to not confine their design interests to a single subject in order to cultivate and educate them.

By not restricting people to any single discipline of design, TDV also seeks to develop and educate individuals. Students have the option of not specializing in one field of study in favor of becoming autonomous, cross-disciplinary designers who can influence and transform the world via design in any and all media, reinforcing the notion that a good designer is capable of creating anything.
