NIFT basically has a centralized process for placement drives and conduction in all of their campuses. The placement cell of NIFT is handled by the Corporate Communication Cell for all their campuses around the country. Their average package of placement is INR 4.50 to 5.70 LPA.

Brands like BATA, MAX, and Amazon are the top recruiters of NIFT.

NIFT, The National Institute of Fashion Technology is a pinnacle for fashion studies in the country with the culmination of top-notch knowledge, traditional as well as the contemporary form of thoughts, technology, and creativity which makes its curriculum peak of perfection for the industry along with its upgradation as per the needs of the industry. They provide Bachelor of Design in courses like Fashion Design, Textile Design, and Accessory Design and, post-graduate courses like Masters of Fashion Management, Master of Design, and Master of Fashion Technology. NIFT conducts entrance exams for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses along with interviews and situation tests. ADMISSION CRITERIA OF NIFT

NIFT usually conducts an entrance exam following an interview or situation test. The exam pattern for the entrance of NIFT consists of CAT meaning Creative Aptitude Test, and GAT meaning General Ability Test which follows Group Discussion or Personal Interview. Candidates who will appear for Bachelor of Design and Masters of Design will have to appear for CAT and GAT, while those who will appear for B.FTech and M.FTech will have to appear only for GAT. Moreover, the candidates of B.Des and M.Des will be further called the Situation Test.
