Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDI) RI-IV, Nagpur signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Chhindwara for "Conducting 4 months Short Term Certificate Course in Footwear Design & Production" to 100 underprivileged/unemployed/underemployed children from Maharashtra state through FDDI.

Rs. 82. 60 authorized under Funds

CMPDI, RI-IV, Nagpur is funding the project for 100 recipients in two groups and has authorized Rs. 82.60 lakhs for the training program under its CSR for FY 2022-24.

 

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Shri Manoj Kumar, Regional Director, RI-IV, Nagpur, and Dr. Pradeep Kumar Mandal, Unit In-charge, FDDI, Chhindwara. On this occasion, the RI-IV CSR staff and other FDDI officials were present.

 

Under the FDDI Act 2017, FDDI was designated as an Institute of National Importance (INI), and it is one of the top scholarly and training institutions under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
