
The IIAD DAT 2023 Examination begins from the 20th of April, for candidates interested in admissions to UG and PG design programmes.
IIAD DAT 2023 admission test was scheduled to be conducted from April 20 to 21, 2023 (online) and April 22, 2023 (on campus).
The application window for IIAD DAT 2023 closed on April 14. Candidates must have a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 to be considered for admission.
Admission to the IIAD is determined by a candidate's performance on the IIAD entrance exam as well as the studio simulation/personal interview rounds.
Candidates who pass the IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT) will be eligible to participate in the IIAD 2023 counselling and seat allocation procedure. The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) now has 200 undergraduate and 20 postgraduate seats available.

The steps involved in the selection procedure are outlined below
Step 1: Take the IIAD Entrance Exam.
For UG programme admissions, candidates must take the iDAT (IIAD Design Aptitude Test) or the iMAT (IIAD Management Aptitude Test).
Step 2: Participate in the Studio Simulation/Personal Interview Round.
Following the written design entrance test, candidates must attend studio simulation (for UG students) or personal interview rounds (for PG candidates).
Step 3: Review the IIAD Entrance Exam Results
Candidates can gain admission to design programmes at IIAD based on their performance in the written entrance test as well as in the studio simulation and portfolio assessment rounds.
Following the completion of all rounds, the college publishes the IIAD admission exam results on its official website.
