NATA 2023 registration in-progress, First Test on April 21

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is required for entry to B.Arch. programs provided by universities and institutions throughout the country.

 

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture is now being accepted online by the Council of Architecture. (NATA 2023). Eligible and interested applicants should register for the test at nata.in. The deadline for NATA 2023 First Test applications is April 10.

NATA 2023 will have three sessions throughout the year. The first test is planned for April 21, and the admit card will be available on April 18. The outcome will be announced on April 30.

The NATA second and third exams will be held on May 20 and June 9, respectively, according to the timetable. The test will be held in two sessions, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2.30 to 5.30 p.m.

 

NATA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have finished their 10+2 test with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a topic of study are eligible to take the NATA 2023 assessment. Candidates who are taking the 10+2 test with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as topics of study or the 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics this year may also apply tentatively for NATA 2023.

 

How to apply for NATA 2023

  1. Visit the official website www.nata.in.
  2. Go to the homepage and click on “NATA-2023 Registration”.
  3. Register using your personal details and login to start the application.
  4. Fill up the details as required, upload the necessary documents and pay the fee.
  5. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

NATA is a qualifier for entry to B.Arch. programs provided by universities/institutions in the nation, subject to meeting the Council's eligibility requirements.

 

NATA assesses an applicant's aptitude for a specific field of study, such as architecture, by assessing cognitive skills, visual perception and aesthetic sensitivity tests, logical reasoning and critical thinking abilities, and so on, in addition to the learning that the candidate has acquired over the previous few years and is related to the specific field of study.
