Pearl Academy's Portfolio is a large-scale annual platform that promotes and honours students' ideas, resourcefulness, and originality.
The Pearl Academy Delhi and Mumbai campuses were buzzing with excitement as months of hard work, devotion, and preparation culminated in this year's 'Portfolio'. Portfolio by Pearl Academy is an annual, large-scale platform that promotes and honors students' ideas, ingenuity, and creativity.
Portfolio 2023 is a kaleidoscope of individual vision and interpretation of the topic 'Future Flashbacks' in Delhi and Mumbai. Every thought and every voice had an influence, from sophisticated fashion accessories inspired by Kutch's old art and skill to Gen-Z's viewpoint on social and cultural concerns.
Dia Mirza (renowned UN Goodwill Ambassador, activist, actor, and filmmaker), Dr. Harsh Vardhan (Member of Parliament and former Minister for Health, Family Welfare, Science, Technology, and Earth Sciences), Sunil Sethi (Chairman of FDCI), and A Subramaniam (President: National Executive Council, ADI) were among those who came to support and encourage the students. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for students to show off their work to famous fashion designers including David Abraham, Nitin Bal Chauhan, and Gaurav Jaigupta. They were accompanied by Pearl Academy's academic staff, which included Aditi Srivastava, President, Alka Madhan, Regional Director - West, Pearl Academy Mumbai, Abhishek Singh, Regional Director - North, Pearl Academy, and Antonio Maurizio Grioli, Dean.
There were also a series of intriguing fashion displays where students could show off their creations. Pearl Academy's Portfolio 2023 also kept its participants interested with an excellent line-up of seminars on a variety of topics ranging from personal styling and cosmetics skills to the merging of fashion and technology.
Thought-provoking themes sparked discussions on key subjects such as body acceptance, cancel culture, and sustainable fashion, creating momentum and empowering audiences, including many school children from Delhi and Mumbai who received significant insights and experiences. The projects were genuinely an extension of each student's uniqueness and experience since they were based on such different and comprehensive topics that included many kinds of human expression, creativity, and communication.
Encapsulating the vibe of Portfolio 2023, Aditi Srivastava, President, Pearl Academy, shares, "This event stands as a testament to the students' unwavering dedication and Pearl Academy's steadfast commitment to fostering and encouraging unique creative expression.
