Pen of Leaf: NIFT Student’s Innovation Dates Back to Ancient Times

He Revamped the Concept of Existing Brochures.

Avi Anand, a National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bhopal student, has invented sustainable pens made from kachnar tree leaves as well as a whole new concept of combining head gear and eyeglasses. He reworked the concept of existing brochures.

As part of his academic dedication, he completed a four-month graduation project at India's prominent museum, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS), where his objective was to bring genuinely worthwhile experiences to the grounds in the shape of concrete objects.

He investigated the issues and met with his industry mentors, N Sakmacha Singh and Garima Anand, as well as other executive curator committee members, to address his interventions.

His four-month project focused on user interaction, experience, visuals, accessories, and universal design. He is now pursuing a career in lifestyle accessories through NIFT. The project's conclusion was highly praised by the museum's director, Bhuvan Vikram.
