TCNS Clothing Endorses Emerging Fashion Designers

TCNS Clothing, a leading women's branded apparel business, is promoting emerging talent and has launched an intriguing project.

A Textile Design Workshop, INC.TEX

The incubation cell at the business, in collaboration with NIFT, organized a textile design workshop INC.TEX in Gurgaon to discover, nurture, and promote emerging talent in the textile design industry.

This initiative allowed 25 talented NIFT students to learn from experienced industry experts and bring their ideas and innovative concepts to the forefront.

 

Print Design, Distinct Narratives and Many More

During the event, students demonstrated their skills and concepts for conceptualizing print design/'Maquette' for womenswear. TCNS experienced professionals encouraged them to create distinct narratives while creating their innovative and conceptual designs during this time. Collaboration between students and professionals enabled participants to gain valuable insights and resulted in a more effective exchange of ideas and views.

 

Prize Winners

The top two prizes went to NIFT students Anushka Nayan and Om Chaudhari, and Jivitesh Mundari and Priya Soni received apprenticeships at TCNS.

A Stepping Stone for Industry Trailblazers

He went on to say that they hope to generate excitement among students and attract the finest talent through INC.TEX because TCNS believes in providing a similar environment of growth and learning in the organization. Our partnership with NIFT will provide a unique venue for the next generation of creatives and will serve as a stepping stone for industry trailblazers in the apparel retail industry.

 

Prof. Dr. Sudha Dhingra, DEAN, NIFT, highlighted, “Workshops like these help students to be better prepared for the industry, enhance synergy between them and the industry.”
