The Design Village (TDV) organized a session for students in Delhi on "Thinking about Attractive Design" in partnership with the Japan Patent Office (JPO). The seminar's goal was to raise awareness about the importance of product design and how design education might benefit students in the future. Mr. Vatsal Agrawal, a Design Village mentor, was one of the event's primary presenters, sharing his experience and awareness of the significance and influence of design in our lives.
Around 90 junior and high school children from Indian schools attended Mr. Vatsal Agrawal's product design workshop session, where the kids learned the value of design by making a functional toy based on a prompt provided to them and constructing it on their own using common materials.
While talking to Vatsal, Mentor TDV remarked, ” It was a pleasure to be part of this seminar where he could participate and exchange opinions with other inspirational designers from the industry." He further said that we should work collaboratively towards developing an environment that is appropriately protected for the designers.
These cooperative efforts assist emerging nations in continuously and independently building and strengthening their intellectual property environments.
