
Tejashwi Yadav, the deputy chief minister, will officiate at the three-day yearly craft fair's official start. The NIFT-Patna graduates, students, and artisans will exhibit a range of products at this year's craft fair.
PATNA: Spectrum and Craft Fair 2023 started at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)-Patna from 24th Friday and continue till Sunday. Both students and instructors are expected to have a wonderful time.
The three-day annual craft fair's grand opening will be performed by deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav. This year's craft bazaar will feature a variety of crafts created by NIFT-Patna graduates, students, and artisans.
Beautiful stalls will be built for the weavers and artisans to display and sell their Bawan Buti and Sikki weavings, Manjusha art, Madhubani paintings, Khatwa, and other handicrafts.
At the bazaar, students will also present a variety of handcrafted items.
An exhibition and sale of handicrafts produced by professionals and amateurs will advance the craft culture by bridging the gap between urban markets and conventional local goods.
For the Spectrum program, which is also NIFT Patna's annual cultural festival, students from the best educational institutions in the city will come together and participate in events like sports, performing arts, literary events, discussions, fashion displays, etc.
The focus of this year's Spectrum topic, "Phantom Delusion," is perception and reality. Nationally renowned artists are anticipated to play at the gathering under the SPIC-MACAY banner. The main attractions of this celebration include Gawali, a fight of the bands, a fashion show, and numerous other entertaining events. The NIFT's informatic manager, Rishikesh, stated that the winners of these contests would receive a plaque and certificate.
