The World University of Design in Sonepat, Haryana, has been named one of the Top 100 Higher Education Institutions in India by the EduTech100 Summit.
World University of Design, Sonepat, Haryana, was named one of India's Top 100 Higher Education Institutes at the EduTech100 Summit on 'Digital Distinction: Technology Conformance to NEP' by ASSOCHAM National Council on Education on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022, in a formal presentation at ASSOCHAM EduTech 100 Summit 2022, New Delhi.
The top 100 colleges have been chosen based on a comprehensive technological framework established and agreed by a group of academic, technical, and policy professionals. World University of Design was not only listed in the top 100, but was also granted a Certificate of Excellence for being one of the top 20 institutes.
Educationists, Chancellors, Vice Chancellors, Principals, Deans, Directors, and Promoters from respected Government and Private Institutions, Edtech start-ups, stakeholders, and students from around the country attended the Summit.

World Design Institution (WUD) is India's first university specialized to educating students in the creative sphere. WUD is located in the heart of India's educational powerhouse, Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Sonipat, Haryana, and serves as a forerunner of a transformation in India's education system.
It is the torchbearer of breaking stereotypical educational patterns and has facilitated the shift of design studies from being solely vocation-oriented to academic-oriented, thereby offering substantiated degrees (under sections 2(f) and 22(l) of the UGC Act) to its students rather than mere diplomas and certificates.
