A UID degree, or a Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in User-Centered Interaction Design, is a professional degree that prepares students for careers in design and user experience (UX) fields. Some of the jobs that you may be able to get with a UID degree include:

  1. UX Designer - UX designers use research, testing, and design skills to create intuitive, user-friendly products and interfaces.

  2. User Researcher - User researchers conduct user studies and interviews to understand user needs and behavior, and use this information to inform the design of products and interfaces.

  3. Interaction Designer - Interaction designers focus on the way users interact with a product or service, and design the flow and behavior of interfaces to make them easy and intuitive to use.

  4. User Experience Writer - User experience writers create content that helps users understand and use a product or service, including user manuals, help documents, and on-screen messages.

  5. Information Architect - Information architects design the structure and organization of websites and other digital products, creating navigation systems and content hierarchies that make it easy for users to find what they need.

These are just a few of the many career options that you may be able to pursue with a UID degree. In addition to these specific job titles, you may also be able to use your design skills and UX knowledge in a range of other design-related roles.
