DVZ Architects & Associates (DBRE India Pvt. Ltd.) is looking for a Architectural Designer to join our growing Architecture team. We are looking for a candidate who is excited about public, civic, and infrastructure architecture, with the flexibility to work in varied capacities from survey work in the field to design documents, 3D renderings, word processing, data organization, in the office.
· Drafting proficiency in CAD (rendering skills a plus!)
· Ability to read and understand constructions documents
· Ability to collect and record survey information
· Proficient in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent research and organizational skills
· Working knowledge of building codes and standards
· Located in the Mumbai area and ability to travel to field visits.
· Ability to interact well with customers and co-workers, in the field and at the office
· Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Science in Architecture, or Master of Architecture
· Prior experience working in an architecture or A/E firm is preferred but not required
· 1-2 Year Experience.

1. Collaborate on Design Projects
The Architect will help plan and design buildings along with a team of Architects. They brainstorm project ideas, complete design drawings in AutoCAD and assist in reviewing project proposals, remaining a part of the process from conception through development.
2. Complete Paperwork
Architects complete and file much of the paperwork that is involved in the design process. They create proposals and complete construction paperwork for buildings. In order to ensure that projects follow legal specifications and company procedures, they ensure all required documents and paperwork are submitted before the construction process is started.
3. Communicate with Involved Parties
It is important that the Architect maintains communication with all parties involved in the project. They communicate with contractors to monitor the progress of a project, and they are sometimes responsible for communicating with clients as well, noting their requests, answering their questions and sending them project updates.
4. Coordinates Project Details
In order to assist the Architects, the Architect will coordinate the details of an architectural project. This includes building specifications, dimensions, assisting with initial project research and outlining project schedules and tasks. Candidates need deeply logical thinkers with an eye for detail and design, and an ability to solve problems efficiently. They are highly organized multi-taskers who embrace flexibility and can prioritize many different duties and projects at once. They have no problem meeting deadlines and are capable of communicating effectively with their clients and working as part of a team.
