Job Description

Cog Digital is looking to add a new Art Director to our very talented team of creatives.An art director must be able to make amazing aesthetic judgements and create beautiful creatives in context with ideas.

Education

• A minimum of an associates (2 year) degree in design, business communications, or visual arts.

Qualification

• Ingenious : Must be talented with extreme skills in this area.
• Inspirational : Must inspire and mentor your team to come up with their insights and ideas that are bold and irreverent.
• Envisioner: Excellent visualisation of the idea and have knowledge of print/web/video/social platforms.
• A minimum of an associates (2 year) degree in design, business communications, or visual arts.
• 5+ years design experience in a studio/design agency setting is required.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience required.
• Must possess exceptional computer skills. Macintosh operating platform a must. PC knowledge a plus. Thorough knowledge of graphic software applications is required.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions in conceiving, developing, and producing tactics.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Interact with Designers/Copywriters to develop creative concepts and executions of assigned product(s).
• Personally work on projects (this is not a desk job!) and also lead design teams to establish award winning creatives.
• Work closely with creative directors to schedule and monitor all projects and provide detailed direction to design teams.
• Assist in the education and development of designers.
• Advise client on all technical visual recommendations and/or issues.
• Help facilitate development of creative briefs and attend client meetings.
• Assist in making presentations to clients.
• Be accountable for your work, and for the design teams you will lead.
