Job Description

As a Texturing artist you will have to create 100% technically accurate 3D models looking as per photographic references. The candidate should have an artistic eye for detail, a good sense of colour, and technical skill sets in unwrapping, material creation, and PBR workflow.

Good knowledge on 3dsMax, V-Ray or Corona Render, Photoshop and Substance Painter is mandatory. You will be responsible for a timely creative execution of all models which will be used in multiple digital experiences

Education

· Education in CG/Animation/Architecture

Qualification

· Education in CG/Animation/Architecture

· Experience working on 3ds Max & VRAY

· Demo reel and portfolio illustrating knowledge and experience in Texturing painting

· 3 to 5 years’ experience in Texturing

· Deep understanding of the technology and techniques relevant to the department disciplines

· Knowledge of Substance painter, Substance Designer & Sampler, PBR Workflow is a must

· Ability to foster positive, collaborative relationships

· Demonstrate a growth mind-set; are resilient and adaptable

 Own or support the development of key elements of 3D product design and development capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and visualize reusable 3D assets. Support the development maintenance and application of 3D standards, assessments, workflows and pipeline. Identify and solve complex problems that make 3D easy for end users to visualize

Roles & Responsibilities

.  Should have worked with the PBR pipeline.

· Should have experience with the Substance painter + Good to have Substance Designer & Sampler Knowledge.

· Should be able to follow design reference accurately to create 3D models.

· Strong knowledge in unwrapping creation and layout the UVs of a model with UDIM’s process.

· Work diligently with a cohesive team of 3D modellers & Textures within the full CG team.

· Expertise in 3dsMax & V-Ray to create textures & Materials.

· Have clear, concise written and verbal communication skills with the business team, vendors and CFT partners.

· Should have the ability to quality check their own output as per the standards.

· Should produce high quality work within agreed timescales.

· Willingness to learn and adept to new technologies and plugins in that space.

· Ability to follow team’s best practices.

· Perpetually follow the standards for files, file types and folder structures followed by the CG team.

· Be able to execute to the needs of the development teams, creative teams and project management teams.

· Researches and makes opportunities to learn new technologies within this space.
