Job Description

 As a Fashion Designer at Malgudi Designs, you will play a pivotal role in creating and developing our fashion collections. Education

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

Qualification

• Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).

• Strong understanding of garment construction and sewing techniques.
• Knowledge of fabric types, textiles, and production processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic fashion environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for trends.
• A passion for fashion and a deep understanding of market trends and consumer preferences.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and create new fashion collections.
• Research and stay updated on current fashion trends, fabrics, and techniques.
• Develop sketches, mood boards, and prototypes to communicate your design concepts.
• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for production.
• Select fabrics, colors, and trims that align with the brand's vision.
• Oversee the entire design process from initial concept to final product.
• Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of products.
• Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to prototypes.
• Assist in the development of marketing materials and visual presentations.
• Participate in photo shoots and promotional events to showcase new collections.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, interns, and team members.
