Job Description

The Graphic Designer & Video Editor will be responsible for creating graphic designs and editing videos of the activities conducted at the centre plus marketing collaterals. He/She shall be energetic, passionate, hard-working and dedicated towards the organization and its vision and mission.

Education

• Graduate with diploma or degree, preferably in communications, journalism, marketing, fine arts, graphic design, or related field, or demonstrated success in relevant professional fields.

Qualification

• Graduate with diploma or degree, preferably in communications, journalism, marketing, fine arts, graphic design, or related field, or demonstrated success in relevant professional fields.
• Strong graphic design & video editing/making skills.
• Minimum 3 years related professional experience in a production environment.
• Strong visual communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data through images.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Desktop publishing tools and graphic design/video editing software, in addition to an understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with best practices for graphics and video content on social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
• Fluent in English and Hindi.
• Pleasing personality with professional attitude.
• Dedicated, hard-working and proactive.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• A team player, who is also self-motivated.
• Print and web design capabilities: must know how to work with both types of media for integrated campaigns.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
• Create images and layouts by hand or using design software.
• Test graphics across various media.
• Edit Videos shot for uploading on YouTube and other Social media channels.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
• Create short videos to highlight, recap, and promote various endeavors and events.
• Optimize graphics and video content for social media platforms.
• Create graphics & videos for website and social media platforms.
• Assist with the writing and presentation of cohesive and persuasive rationales for campaign creative approaches, including page layout, presentation design, icon creation and photo editing.
• Work on marketing materials and other collateral.
• Assist with the artistic input and design for print materials, video contents and social media products.
• Other duties as assigned.
