Job Description

As an illustrator, you will use your creative skills to turn messages and ideas into appealing illustrations and meet quality standards under ambitious deadlines. You will be responsible for formulating concepts and rendering draft illustrations from written words, models, sketched ideas, and from your imagination.

Education

Bachelor's (Preferred)

Qualification

• Proven work experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer or in a similar role
• Demonstrable portfolio of completed illustrations
• Hands-on experience on pen-tablet or pen-monitor is must
• Solid knowledge of image editing and digital sketching software, such as Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Drawing skills with an attention to detail (both by hand and digital pen)
• Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills
• Ability to collaborate and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of animation tools such as Adobe Animate and After Effects will be an added advantage
• Should have good English communication skills and be able to understand briefs and translate them into effective communication
• Should be able to work independently and proactively with the team

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare rough drafts according to requirements
• Combine hand-drawing and painting with digital media to create complete illustrations
• Refine designs with illustration software
• Use various colors, graphics and effects to visualize concepts attractively
• Apply isometric techniques to add perspective to complex shapes
• Participate in design briefs with leads, Instructional Designers or Content Writers to identify their needs
• Brainstorm with the Design Team to come up with new ideas, patterns, and styles
• Stay up to date with new design techniques and software
