Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Jewellery CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in jewellery design, proficiency in Rhino and Matrix software, and a keen eye for detail. As a Jewellery CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed digital models of jewellery pieces, translating conceptual designs into 3D renderings, and collaborating closely with our design team to bring innovative ideas to life.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in jewellery design, industrial design, or a related field.

Qualification

• Proven experience as a Jewellery CAD Designer, with proficiency in Rhino and Matrix software.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of jewellery designs and 3D renderings.
• Excellent understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and provide constructive feedback.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Knowledge of Diamond and diamond setting techniques is a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Utilize Rhino and Matrix software to design and develop detailed 3D models of jewellery pieces, including rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.
• Work closely with the design team to understand project requirements, conceptualize designs, and translate sketches and ideas into digital renderings.
• Ensure that all designs meet quality standards, customer specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with jewellery artisans and craftsmen to refine designs and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the production process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and software updates to continually enhance design capabilities and efficiency.
• Assist in the creation of presentation materials, including renderings and prototypes, for client meetings and design reviews.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
