• Create visual and motion-based graphics for a variety of projects among multi-media platforms
• Learn the in-and-outs of product features to create marketing promos, and feature release videos
• Collaborate with designers and our other video team members to find creative solutions to design communication challenges
• Edit professional quality audio for use with videos
• Able to create motion graphic videos for all the social media platforms and channels
• Provide great market knowledge and proactive, innovative ideas and execution
• Be able to single handedly go from drafting to completion, owning the creation process
• Have experience in Managerial roles (team building, work allocation, time management, creating work reports)
• Must have a current and evolving sense of design with an excellent eye for detail
• Creative problem solver with a positive attitude
Educational Certifications:
Bachelors Degree in filmmaking will be a benefit or a Diploma in same field
7+ years motion graphic design experience working in a fast-paced role eCommerce, advertising, public relations, or in-house agency preferred.
Can demonstrate design skills for creating visually compelling Emailers, web banners, high fidelity product mockups, and other graphical elements
• Knowledge of design principles (typography, layout, imagery, color, creating efficiencies in visual design workflows, etc.)
• Proven communication skills
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, team-based environment.
• A positive attitude towards team members.
• A portfolio of previous work must be presented
Proficiency in programs such as Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and XD.
• Knowledge of typography, color, and production.
• Can create eCommerce product prototypes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with modern workflow tools like Jira, Basecamp, Slack, or Google Apps.
• Prominent understanding of all aspects of post-Production.
• Have an ongoing drive to keep skills and industry knowledge current.
• Are able and willing to quickly adapt to new technologies.
• Have proven experience as a self-starter driven toward achieving goals.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams.
