· Collection planning, design-trend direction, new product guidelines, fit guides and accessories direction and selection, wash library enrichment.
· Stay up to date on trends within the denim space.
· Develop time and action calendars for all programs managed.
· Conceptualize and execute continuous product development (collections) for presentation to buyers and marketing team based on trend research.
· Work cross collaboratively with product development and technical design to create right products for regular design presentations.
· Source and select raw material - fabrics, trims, fastenings, and embellishments continuously for final product adaptation in bulk production.
· Review and implement new techniques.
· Assist in recruiting and training of new design team members, assigning tasks & providing direction to junior designers, associates, and interns within the design department.
· Maintain and monitor development status of all programs by season.
· Prepare tech specs and liaison with production team.
