Job Description

Thinkering Labs is developing work-integrated learning courses in Web & Graphic Design and Digital Marketing to equip college students and young professionals with real-world skills and experience to confidently enter the workforce. Our courses provide hands-on training, allowing learners to gain practical experience and build a strong foundation for their careers.

You will get to work with a team of writers, marketers, and designers who create content and teach a diverse pool of learners. We're currently looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Graphic Design Instructor to join our team.

Education

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Qualification

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in agency, core design role or as a design instructor.
• Must have a relevant educational qualification.
• A strong design portfolio as a proof of skill.
• Solid foundation in the design process and its fundamentals, with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to work in a team.
• Proficient in various software such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva, and the Adobe Suite, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro for video editing.
• Excellent communication skills and a driven individual with a strong work ethic.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Facilitate design instruction & in-person classes for students.
• Update pre-class videos, video tutorials, assignments and assets for the course.
• Create diverse educational materials such as presentations, videos, infographics, assignment templates, and documents.
• Assess, evaluate, and provide feedback on student assignments and projects.
• Serve as a mentor to students by offering assistance, guidance, and advice to students outside of class as required.
• Meet the internal content creation needs of the organization. Aid in developing marketing materials for Thinkering Labs, which may include posters, social media content, advertisements, flyers, brochures, and other items.
