We need a creative and experienced interior designer with excellent knowledge of architectural and interior design, and with a proven track record of designing and executing projects.

We are situated in Siliguri, but share an office in Kolkata with our 3D visualisation team. You will work out of that office in close collaboration with that team, and will be given complete charge of the designing of projects assigned to you.

Qualification

• 5+ years of experience in the luxury interior design industry
• Should have preferably worked on implementation of interiors for high end premium hotels, offices, residential, and showroom projects
• Communication in English and Hindi is mandatory
• Good at multitasking and possessing a pleasant personality
• Self-motivated and energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach
• Willingness to travel anywhere to take charge of projects
• Ownership attitute, good coordinating skills, and an eye for detail
• Plan any given work efficiently and execute well in order to meet deadlines

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design minimal, modern, and sophisticated interiors for homes, hotels, offices, restaurants, and retail showrooms
• Prepare practical floor plans that have the correct clearances and make excellent use of the available space
• Make detailed moodboards and presentations for internal discussions and to guide the 3D team during the visualisation process
• Work closely with the in-house 3D team to guide the process of creating extremely high quality photorealistic 3D renders of your designs
• Create technical drawings like the reflected ceiling, flooring, lighting, plumbing, and wiring diagrams with a very high degree of accuracy
• Work with interns and junior interior designers on your team to create detailed 2D elevations and construction drawings
• Lead from the front and ensure the accuracy of and take complete responsibility of the output from your team
• Select and source the entire materials palette for every single aspect of the design from offline and online sources
• Work with outsourced furniture manufacturers to guide the construction of custom furniture specified in our projects
• Use online collaboration and project management tools to co-ordinate with team members in other parts of the country
• Make occasional visits to sites and company offices in other parts of the country to oversee construction of projects and collaborate with the rest of the team
