UI/UX Designer Intern Job Vacancy at Antilia Solutions in Ernakulam, Kerala

Job Description

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer Intern with a strong interest and passion for design and development of engaging user experiences for consumers on web and mobile. The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated individual with willingness to get her/his hands dirty and have the ability to dedicate 5-6 days per week. The internship is paid and could lead to a full time position with the company.

Education

• Bachelor’s/graduate degree in design or equivalent education / training

Qualification

• An eye for creating elegant, easy-to-use interfaces for applications with a rich and complex set of features
• Strong knowledge of interaction design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to web & mobile products
• Ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables
• 0-6 months of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role
• Bachelor’s/graduate degree in design or equivalent education / training
• Experience with design and prototyping tools and design (including Photoshop, illustrator)
• An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating past work and relevant experience

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the user experience and interaction design across web and mobile devices

• Design and produce user interfaces and interaction design specifications using participatory and iterative design techniques including stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and other forms of discovery

• Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale
