Job Description

As a UI/UX Designer specializing in mobile app design, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and intuitive interfaces for mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into engaging mobile app experiences.

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Qualification

• Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a UI/UX designer, with a focus on mobile app design. Portfolio showcasing your mobile app design work and process.
• Design and Prototyping Tools: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator.
• Mobile Platform Knowledge: In-depth understanding of iOS and Android design guidelines and platform-specific considerations.Familiarity with the latest mobile app design trends and best practices.
• User-entered Design: Strong knowledge of user-entered design principles and methodologies. Ability to conduct user research, gather insights, and translate them into effective design solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and ability to create pixel-perfect designs. Understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Collaboration and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to present and articulate design concepts and decisions.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex design challenges. Ability to think creatively and provide innovative design solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• User Research and Analysis: Conduct user research to understand target users, their needs, and preferences. Analyse user feedback, market trends, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
• Wire framing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize and iterate on design concepts. Develop user flows and navigation structures to enhance usability and user experience.
• UI Design: Design visually appealing user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and mobile platform standards. Create icons, illustrations, and other graphical assets to enhance the overall visual experience.Optimise designs for various screen sizes, resolutions, and device types.
• Usability Testing: Conduct usability tests to gather feedback and validate design choices.Identify areas for improvement and iteratively refine designs based on user insights.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to ensure seamless implementation of design solutions.Communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to stakeholders and team members.
