That's what we're here for—To reverse the downward trend in the use of public transport in urban India!

Leading the smart commute revolution in India, Tummoc is a multimodal platform promoting public transport while making the most of private modes.

Indian cities are congested beyond comfort and the private-vehicle-driven commute habits lead to record pollution levels. The immediate solution is a mass transition to Public Transport. Tummoc helps track and find actionable & accurate intra-city travel information for the bus/metro/suburban rail. You can purchase passes directly on the app in Bangalore at the moment, and soon we'll be launching online ticketing in other cities as well.

We also help you find the best first and last-mile rides to get you to and from public transit stations.

Education

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Qualification

• Proficiency in the Graphic Design and UI/UX tools including Sketch, Adobe XD/Figma, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of After Effects will be a brownie point.
• Passion for design thinking, usability, and UX practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Candidate should know about the Design Process and UX Journey
• Illustrate or draw design ideas using storyboards, user flows, and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interfaces elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Candidate should have the knowledge of technical terms like Empathy Map, User Persona, UX Journey Map, Task Flow, Sitemap, and Information Architecture.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how app and website function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to the internal team
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Candidate will be responsible to work on Live Projects
• Candidate should have a good mix of interaction, visual, and problem-solving abilities with a passion for crafting useful and delightful features end- to-end.
• Understand and perform Design sprint
• Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
• Be an active part of UAT.

About Company

Tummoc was the answer to the hassle of regular transportation options and the struggle to find reasonably priced short term rides in Bangalore. The absurdity of a 20-minute wait for a 10-minute ride in the metro or a bus, and the difficulty fulfilling the first and last mile requirements when using public transport, formed the base of the Tummoc experience.

The core of our motivation to create Tummoc as an offering was that while India has an extensive network of public transport, which are priced affordably as well, we still don’t see public transport as a legitimate commute option. It’s only ever chosen out of desperation, and never by choice. What motivated us further was the preference public transport gets in first world countries because of the customer-first approach making it an accessible and convenient option. We wanted to give everyone access to the widespread intricate network of public transport this country already has and make public transport a legitimate choice of intracity commute.
