As a Website Designer at Kinix Systems , you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our brand and meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with our development team, project managers, and clients to bring creative concepts to life. Education
Bachelor's Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience of 2 or above years as a Website Designer or similar role
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant coding languages
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of web design projects
- Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Familiarity with wire framing/prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Fig ma)
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conceptualise and execute creative and innovative website designs aligned with client requirements and brand identity.
- Transform design concepts into pixel-perfect, responsive HTML/CSS code, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance.
- Integrate interactive elements and dynamic features using JavaScript to enhance user engagement and interactivity.
- Lead UI/UX efforts, focusing on intuitive navigation, clear information architecture, and seamless user journeys.
- Design and optimise images, icons, and visual assets for web use, leveraging graphic design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Develop wire frames and interactive prototypes to illustrate website functionality and secure client approval before development.
- Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of designs within project timelines.
- Set up and customise content management systems (e.g., WordPress) to enable clients to independently manage and update their websites.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and search engine rankings.
- Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to identify and rectify design, functionality, or performance issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to continuously elevate the quality of website designs.
