What is The CEED Entrance Exam?

For admission to the Masters of Design (M.Des) program at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIT Kanpur, as well as PhD programs in design at other institutes, candidates must clear the Common Entrance Exams for Design (CEED), a certified design examination. The primary goal of the CEED is to evaluate a candidate's aptitude for design, which includes visual perception, drawing, logical thinking, creativity, and communication abilities.

CEED Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

Qualifying exam

The candidate must have completed a degree, diploma, or postgraduate program of a minimum of THREE years (after 10+2).

Or,

Appearing for the final exam of such a program by July 2023

Or,

Must have passed the GD Arts diploma program (10+5) level by July 2023.
