NIFT

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has its own admissions exam. NIFT's main campus is in New Delhi, and it provides a bachelor's degree in design. It is a nationwide test that is given once a year. The NIFT entrance test is administered in an offline/written format. The candidate must be under the age of 23 and have completed class 12 to be eligible to apply for this design admission test.

 

NIFT, 2023

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has distributed admission cards for the NIFT 2023 written examinations, which were January 16, 2023.

 

The admission card provides information such as the candidate's name and roll number, the day and time of the written test, the name and address of the NIFT 2023 exam center, and exam-day directions.

 

NIFT 2023 online registration is now closed. With late costs of Rs.5000, registration was open up to January 8, while with ordinary rates, the application due deadline was December 1, 2022.

 

The NIFT 2023 written examinations will be held on February 5, 2023, a Sunday.

 

Candidates who pass the written test will be required to take a Situation Test (B.Des) or a Personal Interview (PG programs).

 

The NIFT 2023 written examinations will include a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT) (GAT). The GAT will be administered using a computer-based test (CBT), whereas the CAT will be administered on paper.

 

The GAT exam is required for all programs (Design + Technology), although only B.Des and M.Des (Design programs) candidates must take the CAT.

 

UCEED

IIT Bombay administers the UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design). Every year, it is conducted online. Candidates who pass UCEED will be eligible for bachelor's degrees in design at universities that offer UCEED. Applicants must have completed Class 12 to be eligible to take this design entrance test in India.

UCEED Highlights 2023

Pearl Academy Admissions Exam

The Pearl Academy Entrance Test is administered by one of the leading design institutes. The authority administers the test three times at the national level, each time online. If students wish to take the admission test, they must have at least 50% in class 12.

Pearl Academy Entrance Exam 2023: Pearl Academy administers the Pearl Academy entrance exam to students wishing to enroll in one of the 40 distinct courses offered at campuses in Delhi-West, Delhi-South, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Bengaluru. The personal interview admit card for PAF 2023 will be given on January 19, and the interview will be held on January 23, 24, 25, and 27, 2023.

 

SEED

Symbiosis International University administers the SEED entrance test for admission to bachelor's-level design programs. Once a year, the test is given online. Students who are interested should have a 10+3 diploma with an overall authorization of 50% from the state board of technical education.

 

SEED, 2023

On January 15, 2023, the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) administered the SEED 2023 entrance test. The test was proctored online and consisted of objective-type questions. Admit cards for the test were available beginning January 7, 2023. The application procedure involves processes such as online registration, filling out required information, submitting documents, and paying costs.

 

Candidates who pass the written test will be invited to participate in a portfolio review and personal   (PRPI) stage.

 

FDDI AIST

The FDDI AIST exam is administered by the Footwear Design & Development Institute. FDDI has 12 campuses in India. Candidates who have passed the FDDI-AIST examination are eligible for admission to the bachelor of design program. Only candidates who have completed class 12 and are under the age of 25 are eligible for the admissions exam.

 

FDDI AIST, 2023

The FDDI AIST entrance test in 2023 will be given in paper and pencil format on June 18, 2023. The admissions card will be distributed on June 5, 2023. On June 30, 2023, the authorities will release the FDDI AIST 2023 result in the form of a merit list.

 

CEED

Every year, IIT Bombay holds the CEED Common Entrance Examination for Design, and candidates who pass the test are eligible for admission to master's-level design programs. There is no upper age restriction; however, applicants must hold a three-year diploma, degre, or /postgraduate degree.

GD Goenka DAT

GD Goenka University provides design courses at the master's and bachelor's levels. The university has its own entrance test called the Design Aptitude Test. Candidates must pass the first round of entrance exams and then the personal interview stage.

 

A candidate for a bachelor's degree must have completed class 12, while a master's degree requires three years of graduating in the relevant profession.

 

GD Goenka, 2023 Highlights

The GD Goenka DAT 2023 application form has been released, and those individuals who are interested and eligible to apply for admission to their desired programs at this institution will complete the application form online. Candidates can fill out and submit the application form by carefully following the instructions.

 

UID Aptitude Test

To gain admission to the United World Institute of Design, candidates must pass the UID Aptitude Test, which is administered by the authority. Undergraduate, postgraduate, and integrated design degrees are available at the university. For bachelor's degrees, the applicant must have a minimum of 50% in class 12. Applicants for master's degrees must be graduates with a minimum of 50% in the applicable course.

 

UID, 2023

 

The Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID) has posted the online application form for UID DAT 2023. Candidates who match the program-specific eligibility criteria can fill out the application form by clicking on the link provided below.

 

The deadline to register for UID DAT 2023 is January 15, 2023.

 

Unitedworld Institute of Design will hold the UID DAT 2023 admission test on January 29, 2023. The test will be given online and be divided into two parts: 1) The Design Aptitude Test, and 2) Situation Test and Portfolio Evaluation (ST-PE).

 

The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will include a General IQ Test, an Analytical Test, and a Creative Ability Test. Candidates who pass the DAT must then take the Situation Test and Portfolio Evaluation.

 

NID Entrance Exam

NID Entrance Test is held by the National Institute of Design for admission to PG and UG level design programmes. The NID Entrance Test is a yearly written examination. To be eligible for an admission slot, applicants must pass two rounds. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university and be under the age of 30.

 

The NID DAT, 2023

The NID DAT 2023 preliminary test results will be available on February 28, 2023 for M.Des and March 30, 2023 for B.Des. Only candidates who pass the DAT Prelims will be eligible to take the DAT Mains. The National Institute of Design (NID) will hold the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Mains for B.Des. and M.Des. students from March 20 to April 30, 2023. The NID DAT 2023 admit cards for B.Des and M.Des will be available on April 15 and March 9, 2023, respectively.

 

AIEED

 

Arch College of Design and Business administers the AIEED All India Entrance Examination for Design. The test is administered online once a year. Students are only eligible if they have completed Class 12 and are graduates of a recognized university.
